Here in the Zion Area the temperature can get quite extreme during the summer months. That doesn't keep travelers away from Zion National Park. In the late of August and early September the temperatures are exceeding 100 degrees. Duck Creek offers a great base camp for those of us who like to beat the heat while still seeing the sites we want to see. Only an hour away from Zion and Bryce, Duck Creek offers a perfect mountain setting for those looking to be close to the National Parks we are famous for. Not only this, Duck creek is unique features of its own to make it a destination worth traveling to. The main attractions are hiking, off-roading, great trout fishing in streams, and ponds. Don't have your own off road vehicle? No problem. Just a few minutes away from our campground you are able to rent and variety of off road vehicles to suit your needs. For fishing, we aren't too far from Panguitch Lake with offers first class trout fishing with boat rentals as well as great on-shore fishing. Want to get out and use your legs instead? Brian head is less than an hour away where you will find a ski resort that caters to mountain bikers during the summer. On top of all of this you have world class views overlooking Zion and Cedar breaks near the campground as well. There is so much to do and little time to do it as summer and fall months will be closing soon so we encourage you to book now before the snow shuts us down for the winter season!
